We are currently recruiting for an Arabic Project Coordinator role, responsible for leading Britannica’s knowledge of primary and secondary school educator needs alongside our Arabic translation partners.

Job Title:         Arabic Project Coordinator

This role is fixed term 8 months, with the opportunity to extend dependent on project requirements.

This role is based in the U.K.

Duties and Responsibilities:

We are expanding our digital learning environment with both English and Arabic development and we are seeking a project coordinator who is fluent in written Arabic, has science-related editing/ writing skills and good project management skills with an eye for detail.

The project involves text and media that is developed in English and translated by a translation partner into Arabic.



Project Management


  • Managing translation company
  • Coordination between the Arabic review team and the translation partner
  • Reviewing and QA translation into Arabic
  • Sign off completion of Arabic translation


Translation Review


  • Review the translated materials to ensure that core Britannica standards have not been affected by the translation work
  • Feedback any translation concerns back to Translation Company
  • QA content inserted into Arabic Technology Platform
  • Copying the translated Arabic content from an excel spreadsheet and transferring it into the Arabic Technology Platform

Fluency in both written and spoken Arabic is essential.
